DLMS Client (IEC 62056) allows users to quickly and easily establish connections and begin retrieving data from any electrical meter supporting the DLMS protocol. Some of the compatible meters include Landis, Iskraemeco, Itron, Cewe, ZIV and many more. Connections to the meters can be made through a serial port and Ethernet converter, or even through the meter’s optical port. DLMS Client facilitates simplified energy monitoring and analysis, providing greater insights and control over your energy flows.
DLMS Client makes connecting to electrical meters incredibly straightforward. DLMS Client can establish connections to an unlimited number of meters through a serial port or Ethernet converter, enabling you to monitor and consolidate your meter data without any limitations.
Say farewell to communication errors and collisions resulting from simultaneous access. DLMS Client incorporates gateway functionality to guarantee smooth multi-client access. The gateway actively listens to a TCP port, temporarily pausing communication with devices in the channel upon connection from a third-party application. This allows transparent access to any device on the channel. When the application disconnects, communication seamlessly resumes.
DLMS Client goes beyond just monitoring instant values. It enables you to download and monitor active and reactive energy consumption by retrieving the load profile with ease. N3uron platform guarantees all the data is accessible to any other third-party application through widely used communication protocols such as MQTT Sparkplug, MQTT, REST API, OPC UA Server and many more.

N3uron V.1.21 is our most advanced release to date, and comes with N3uron’s first long-term support package. As an LTS version, N3uron V.1.21 will receive improvements and fixes for the next five years (until April 2027) from the date of its release, so you can rely on V.1.21 for long-term support.
