N3uron V.1.21.4 introduces new modules and brings exciting improvements and updates designed to enhance N3uron’s efficiency and performance.
Boosting Industrial Edge with MQTT and Sparkplug
N3uron V.1.21.4 provides significant improvements to many modules to expand our Industrial Edge Platform functionalities:
- MQTT Client now includes an InfluxDB pre-configured payload in the publisher to push all your operational data to InfluxDB in a matter of minutes.
- Sparkplug Client introduces robust new features, including support for Sparkplug B version 3.0. In addition to expanding its functionalities with the latest update, the N3uron Sparkplug Client Module is now fully Sparkplug Compliant, certified by the Eclipse Foundation.
As a Sparkplug Working Group member, we’re committed to promoting the Sparkplug 3.0 spec and encouraging interoperable solutions based on MQTT and Sparkplug protocols. This validates our Client as fully compliant, providing reliable IIoT messaging support for Industry 4.0 projects.

SNMP Module. Manage your exchanged data efficiently with N3uron
The N3uron SNMP Client module allows data to be exchanged with SNMP V1 and V2c agents, making it available to other systems through any of the Data Delivery modules implemented within the N3uron platform, such as MQTT, OPC UA Server, Sparkplug, REST API Server, Notifier, etc.
BACnet Client. New Module for effortless device connectivity and real-time monitoring
The BACnet Client module for N3uron is a robust tool that facilitates effortless connectivity to BACnet-compatible devices, providing real-time data monitoring and control capabilities. With this module, users can integrate their devices with a broad spectrum of software applications, including building and energy management systems, SCADA, etc.
Further improvements and updates to increase N3uron’s efficiency
- Derived Tags performance has been significantly increased. In addition, three new tag modes have been added:
– Redundancy tag mode to create tags with several inputs acting as redundant sources.
– Alias tag mode to create a replica of another tag without any coding.
– Node tag mode to provide information about the node, links and modules.
This update also brings a new Delta aggregation method, Cron expressions with timezone support and new persistency capabilities. - OPC UA Client can now exchange larger messages for better compatibility with servers. It has also improved logs in monitor items and tag creations, as well as improved the visualizer using tables.
- OPC UA Server is able to publish in Float and Double data types.
- Scripting provides the $.exit() function for receiving either a string or an Error object as the first argument.
- SQL Client has added the option to provide the digital certificates as a file path.
- Web Vision provides new hide property in the ChildTree.
- WebUI includes new visual components to support advanced features.
- Farrell Client now allows poll-on-demand to request data to a specific remote outstation and has been added a trigger to permit writing multiple registers in one message.
