The announcement is supported by the launch of a new N3uron Certified Gateways page on the Robustel website, designed to help customers understand how the EG5120 can be used as a trusted Hardware Platform for N3uron deployments in energy, utilities, and other distributed infrastructure environments.
The partnership does not change how customers purchase either offering. The EG5120 continues to be supplied through Robustel’s distributor and partner network, while N3uron software licenses continue to be provided directly by N3uron. The value of the collaboration lies in giving customers greater confidence in an out-of-the-box, pre-installed solution on rugged hardware in real operating environments.
For customers in power, utilities, renewable energy, water, and other distributed asset environments, the integrated toolkit provides a plug-and-play path to deploy pre-installed N3uron closer to field assets while standardising edge infrastructure across sites. It also helps reduce deployment uncertainty for teams looking to move operational data securely and reliably into SCADA, cloud platforms, historians, and enterprise systems.

The EG5120 is Robustel’s industrial edge computing gateway, designed to support demanding field deployments. Running on RobustOS Pro, a Debian-based Linux environment with Docker support, the platform gives customers a familiar and plug-and-play way to run pre-installed edge software while supporting over-the-air updates and remote lifecycle management through RCMS. This means organisations can use the same integrated platform both for new projects and for upgrading existing deployments over time.
